Darrin Cohen has a passion for the game of tennis, and has been involved with the sport since he was five years old. In all junior age divisions Darrin was ranked in the top five in Northern California and top 30 nationally. At the University of Virginia he competed as a top six player on the varsity men’s tennis team for four years, achieving an NCAA singles ranking of #36, and a doubles ranking of #10. When he graduated from UVa he competed on the ATP Professional men’s tennis tour. After one year on the tour Darrin achieved a singles ranking of #1100 and a doubles ranking of #740.
June Munroe graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Computer Engineering. A lifelong, avid athlete she left her engineering career to build a top notch health company that fellow enthusiasts could rely on since so many products on the market do not meet their label claims. She earned her IFBB professional athlete status as well as top notch certifications in Exercise, Health and Nutrition. June's main goal was to provide top quality products to fellow athletes and thus built a company that brought in the right people to make this happen.

Our Chemist
Our chemist has over 25 years experience in contract manufacturing of both dietary supplements and topical health products for some of the largest facilities in the world. Jeff Bliss is a published author and graduate of Rutgers University. Jeff has worked on products from start to finish (design, development, and final formula), alone and on a team of formulators for products that are top rated and used in the community. He has been a formulator as well as an in-house compliance officer mediating between the FDA and corporate. He is fluent in cGMP's, CFR 21, part 211 and 111. Jeff has written SOP's for several manufacturing facilities for their compliance in the FDA. When it comes to a product he is involved with it is not only effective, but it is safe by all standards out there. Jeff joined Active Formulations because he respected their down to the earth and honest athlete approach. Jeff is very excited to launch this new endeavor.
